On this day, Ozzy Osbourne will reunite with the original BLACK SABBATH lineup Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward with an average age of 75— for a historic farewell show in Birmingham, the city where it all began. Titled Back To The Beginning, this momentous concert will take place at Villa Park, the iconic home of Aston Villa, in Birmingham, UK.

"He won’t tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly,'" said Sharon, Ozzy’s wife and agent, per Rolling Stone UK.
“It’s my time to go ‘Back To The Beginning’… time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy said, “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
Morello, who will also serve as the musical director, promises an unforgettable experience. “This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever,” he says.

The event, which celebrates nearly six decades of BLACK SABBATH’s influence on music, will also feature performances by some of metal’s most respected acts: METALLICA, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, ALICE IN CHAINS, GOJIRA, HALESTORM, and LAMB OF GOD, among others.
If you are unable to attend this performance live in Birmingham, UK on July 5th, worry not. Beijing-based band Doomsayer and Jinshang Group will join forces to present a Black Sabbath "Farewell Day" themed fans party.
On July 5th evening, “Back to the Beginning” will be screened at Streamline Theatre on the 2nd floor of Jinshang Chengxi in Beijing. We would like to invite all Black Sabbath fans from Beijing to join us in witnessing this historic moment, and to conclude this legendary band’s touring career with a perfect ending.
